BIZART 2007 AWARD

On March 20th, 2008, at "Cvijeta Zuzoric" Pavilion, Art / Design & Business Award were presented, at the Bizart 2007 Award Ceremony. Awards were presented in a form of a statue, work of renowned designer Mirko Ilic. 

Bizart 2007 Art & Business Award, for the most successful partnership between culture and business sector was presented to partnership between Telenor Foundation and KIOSK NGO for the project "Start up the city". 

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, Bizart Award was initiated to stimulate new mechanisms for culture financing, which include private and business sector and large number of foundations. In that way, Ministry of Culture intends to develop instruments for motivated investment in culture, with a purpose of creation of strong, multilayered and sustainable connection between culture and business sector, creating positive atmosphere for investment in culture, based on mutual respect, professionalism, social responsibility, innovative approach, quality of partnerships, as well as of the quality of the projects themselves, which were leading criteria for Jury selecting the projects and for final selection of the most successful partnerships.   

According to the established regulations, members of the Jury were last year Bizart Award winners: Mr. Nebojša Babić, Director of the O3one Gallery, Ms. Katarina Gaborović, Marketing director of the Raiffeisen bank, Mr. Veran Matić, Director of B92, Mr. Igor Oršolić, Art director of B92 and Mr. Miodrag Popović, Director of Yu Epicenter. 

Bizart Award was realized under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia. Organizer was BalkanKult Foundation, and manifestation was supported by Byzart Digital Print and Logotext.
